The Avila pedestal dining room set draws its inspiration from the Baroque style of furniture design that was popular in Europe in the 17th century. It was a time when tastes leaned toward larger, more ornate pieces that were heavily ornamented to give an overall impression of grandeur. Designers of the Avila pedestal dining room set have created a modern version of the Baroque style which does not disappoint!
One of the first things you will notice about the Avila table is the textural diamond veneer-patterned table top that runs its length. The cherry finish looks stunning in this design. Hidden pull-out drawers are found at each end. You will be able to entertain a large group of people in style with the Avila table, as it can extend to 132”. The four-sided pedestals feature an intricately carved acanthus leaf detail, finishing on a beautifully-shaped base.
The Avila pedestal dining room table comes with two armchairs and four side chairs. Both styles have seats that have been upholstered in dark leather, and backs covered in a paisley pattern. This mixing of materials was common in Baroque furniture design, adding opulence. Nail head trim, cabriole legs, and cross stretchers finish the look.
If you love the Avila pedestal dining room set, consider the Avila marble top server and china cabinet. Max Furniture is able to provide additional chairs in sets of two for your entertaining needs.
